Tom Brady Painting

This is something that was supposed to be a Photoshop study for a painting of Tom Brady. I started to like the way it was coming out so I made prints of the Photoshop art. I am also working on the painting of Brady and may do a series of portraiture. I'm also thinking of working very large—exactly how large, not sure yet.

Out of the Water

Boats out of the water can be nice subject matter too. I came across these boats in Gloucestor MA.

Winter Maine Paintings

Here are two paintings I recently completed of scenes from a road trip through Maine. Whether  Summer or Winter, Maine is full of wonderful subject matter.

Clouds over Mashpee

This is a larger painting ( 30" x 48") I did this weekend in a new larger gallery and studio space at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA. It's a view from a cottage I was staying at in Maushop Village in Mashpee on Cape Cod this Summer. The view is always big and spectacular—I tried to capture that as best I could!

Nantucket Island En Plein Air

Last weekend was a productive and fun time in Nantucket. Well, the productive time was fun too. A group of us painted outside on Nantucket Island and were lucky to have beautiful weather. That group would be the Neponset Valley Artists. Here's a couple of paintings I did. The one with the blue boat will stay with one our very generous hostesses. That's Ann Gorbett, renowned palette knife artist extraordinaire, also known as my wife.
