Having just done Tom Brady I couldn't resist doing the New England Patriot's Coach Bill Belichick.  He is unequaled in his high fashion sense.

More From the Red Inn Series

Here are two more additions to the Red Inn Series. They are in the same vein as my recently posted paintings of Hatches Harbor in Provincetown. The second is the larger of the two, 24" x 36", which is a size I like though I'd like to work bigger as this direction develops. Also with this one I painted a flat even area with no texture for the sky. I like the contrast with the rest of the textured areas of the painting and the feel of a vast atmosphere it has—also the minimalist play of color. These are in oils and will soon be hanging at the Red Inn in Provincetown MA.

New Series

I want to share a new series of paintings I'm excited about.  These have a mix of an abstract and somewhat representational approach. These are of Hatches Harbor near Provincetown. They are also hanging at the Red Inn in Provincetown.

Vladimir Putin Burgers

This last weekend I was on the Cape and the time was right to make burgers, thus a new hamburger head... so we have Vladimir Putin.

Cold and Windy Plein Air, Frankenframes, and Extra Wall Space

The art gallery at Patriot Place has extra wall space this weekend, being minus quests artists, so I took the opportunity to hang these new pieces in their new frames. These are some of my most recent from a Provincetown series. The bottom one is a plein air event on a cold and windy day with some fellow artists. I think the weather really made me paint with a purpose trying to capture the feeling of the day.

These are my favorite frames to date I bought from Frankenframes. They're black floaters with a little silver on the front.
